It’s been a while since I introduced myself here on Instagram and the new year feels like the perfect time.

My name is Gardenia Miramontes, and I am the owner of El Jardin. Some things you should know about me:

I’m a 31 year old Mexican-American, q***r photographer based out of Pullman,WA.

I’ve been holding a camera since I was 8 years old. That Toys R Us Hello Kitty film camera will be a gift I’ll be forever thankful for.

It’s been a roller coaster ride pursuing this passion and while this continues to be a part time hustle the dream is to pursue this full time.

This October ended up looking a little different(again). I had to let go of expectations and move at my own rhythm. That meant slowing down while I welcomed new changes(see last ✌🏽slides). Sorry for the lack of spooky content this year, enjoy one from last year and wish me luck on a new adventure.
