It’s always about composition. Where you place items in the frame can make or break a image. Here we have leading lines. You first notice the base of the fallen tree then your eyes follow it into the image. Force the viewers eye where you want it to go.

Christmas Day falling on Friday distracted me. Welcome to This weeks tip is of course photographing Christmas lights. To achieve a beautiful glow focus your camera on the brightest light. That will force your phone to choose the proper exposure for nighttime light photos.

is back! I apologize for the long absence. My childhood best friend lost her battle with cancer last month and it really took a toll on me. I will try to stay on top of it from now on.

This image can only be captured using night mode on a higher end phone. It’s the radon why the newer high end phones have three cameras on them. It’s actually one cancer with three different lenses. One being for low light. Make sure the phone is always completely still when capturing low light images. Most of all just take picture and have fun with it.
