Easily the most insane and gravity defying natural formation I have ever seen in Utah. This unnamed rock formation is not in arches or any other Utah National or state park. It’s actually not even very widely known thankfully I think.
Sadly it recently collapsed I am told, I had actually never posted anything about it or shared any videos of it until recently after finding out it was no longer standing in an attempt to sort of keep it protected. I did share some obscure photos of it but now that it has collapsed I find it is a perfect example of the positive side of respectfully protecting these places by not over crowding them.
Now that it is sadly gone I’m happy to share it with the world but I was always so scared of breathing next to it and you just never know how people would treat it.
Now from what I am told luckily it sounds like it just collapsed of natural causes, most likely rain and wind, but we aren’t entirely sure. I have not yet been back since it’s collapsed but many kind people have sent me photos of it now collapsed.
Have you ever seen anything this bizarre and unusual in Utah? 👀
