There’s something about photographing a family in the middle of becoming something new.

A brand new baby tucked into mom and dad’s arms, a big sister who still wants to twirl and run through the grass, and everyone figuring out this new version of life together. 🤍

These are the sessions I love most—not because everything is perfectly posed, but because they hold onto what this season actually felt like.

The tiny details. The big sister kisses. Dad snuggling his newest girl. Mom somehow holding everyone at once.

A garden full of flowers and an evening full of fellowship. 🌸

The Gathering Garden was such a beautiful event for the FBC Women’s Ministry—an opportunity for ladies of all ages to slow down, connect, create their own floral arrangements, and simply enjoy being together.

There was so much laughter, creativity, and genuine connection woven throughout the evening. It was such a joy to photograph this sweet summer gathering and preserve a little piece of the community shared here. 🤍

There is something incredibly special about photographing your best friend as she steps into a brand-new chapter of her life.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing and loving her through so many seasons, and now I get to watch her become a mama. Getting to preserve this quiet, beautiful season for her felt like so much more than a session—it felt like holding onto a piece of a story I’m deeply grateful to witness.

These are the moments I want Studio M to be about: the anticipation, the tenderness, the love already surrounding a little person who hasn’t even arrived yet.

You don’t have to be “good at photos” to have photographs you love.

Working with Studio EM isn’t about performing for the camera or holding a perfect pose. It’s about creating enough comfort and space for you to settle in, connect with the people you love and allow your real story to come forward.

I’ll guide you when you need direction, fix the little details and give you prompts that create movement and connection. But I’ll also step back and notice what happens naturally—the laughter between poses, the tiny hand holding yours and the look you didn’t realize you gave each other.

My goal is for your experience to feel:

Hi, I’m Emma—the photographer and heart behind Studio Em. 🤍

I’m a wife, a mama and someone who has always felt deeply connected to the little moments that make a life feel like your own.

The way your child reaches for your hand. The laughter that happens after the “official” photo. The look between two people who know one another by heart. These are the moments I never want you to forget.

My approach to photography is warm, thoughtful and unhurried. I’ll guide you when you need it, give you room to be yourselves and pay attention to the pieces of your story that may otherwise pass unnoticed.
