The Neophyte designer at Mouse Island Design just wanted to give a shout out to our amazing Senior design Ninja Rowena May McPherson. Most of her design time goes to her weekday employment at UMPI both teaching the next generation of graphic designers & photographers, as well as creating and photographing for the University. It's one thing to see the final results and a completely different view watching the 16 hr days she's had to push through to meet the crazy deadlines of late. Exhausted, day after day, running on caffeine, she's done it. Done it at the level her well-earned reputation requires. I have no idea how she keeps it up. With her design load at UMPI she needs a team under her, but she consistently knocks it out on her own no matter how many extra hours she has to log. She could go anywhere in the world with her design skills. Mouse Island Creatives will go wherever her heart takes us. For now, we are here in Northern Maine serving all of New England and beyond with our design, photography, and other creative services. You rock Rowena. I'll go grab you another coffee and get back to wordslinging in the story studio.
