In partnership with the Central Midwest Football League, SemiPro GameDay is proud to present the 2026 CMFL Honors, recognizing the league's most outstanding players, coaches, and contributors from the 2026 season.
These awards celebrate excellence on and off the field while honoring the individuals who embody the competitive spirit, leadership, and sportsmanship that define CMFL football.
Individual Awards
🏆Most Valuable Player (MVP)
Awarded to the player who had the greatest overall impact on their team's success throughout the season. This honor recognizes elite performance, leadership, consistency, and game-changing ability.
🚀Offensive Player of the Year
Presented to the league's most outstanding offensive performer, regardless of position. This award recognizes exceptional production, efficiency, and impact on the offensive side of the ball.
🛑Defensive Player of the Year
Awarded to the defensive standout who consistently dominated games through playmaking ability, leadership, and defensive excellence.
🥾Special Teams Player of the Year
Presented to the league's most impactful special teams performer. This award recognizes excellence in kicking, punting, kick and punt returns, coverage units, and game-changing special teams plays that directly contributed to team success.
🔥Offensive Rookie of the Year
Presented to the most impactful first-year offensive player in the CMFL. This award honors a rookie who quickly emerged as a difference-maker for their team.
🔥Defensive Rookie of the Year
Awarded to the top first-year defensive player who demonstrated exceptional skill, production, and potential throughout the season.
🧱Lineman of the Year
Recognizes the most dominant offensive lineman in the league. This award honors excellence in the trenches, where games are often won and lost.
📣Coaching Awards
Positional Coach of the Year
Awarded to the assistant coach responsible for developing a specific position group that performed at an elite level throughout the season.
Assistant Coach of the Year
Presented to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator whose leadership, preparation, and contributions played a vital role in their team's success.
Head Coach of the Year
Awarded to the head coach who demonstrated exceptional leadership, team development, strategic excellence, and overall success during the 2026 season.
⭐️All-CMFL Teams
First Team All-CMFL
Recognizes the top performers at each position across the league and represents the highest individual honor outside of the major awards.
Second Team All-CMFL
Honors players who delivered outstanding seasons and ranked among the best at their respective positions.
Honorable Mention All-CMFL
Recognizes deserving players whose performances earned league-wide consideration and distinction during the 2026 season.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for any CMFL Honor, nominees must meet the following requirements:
✅ Played in at least 75% of their team's regular season games
✅ Free of any major suspensions or disciplinary actions during the season
✅ Have verified statistics and/or game film submitted through CMFL-approved sources
The 2026 CMFL Honors Presented by SemiPro GameDay represent the highest individual recognition within the Central Midwest Football League. From MVP candidates to rising rookies, dominant linemen to elite special teams performers, and from outstanding position coaches to championship-caliber head coaches, these awards celebrate the individuals who helped shape the story of the 2026 CMFL season.
