Tomorrow, I turn 40.

Instead of looking back with regret, I’m feeling grateful, for growth, for lessons, and for the chance I’ve had to rediscover what truly fills me up. Over the last few years wildlife photography has reignited that spark of wonder, peace, and connection I didn’t realize I’d been missing since I was a kid.

Im anxiously waiting for this weekend, when I’m heading back to the Smokies, a place I absolutely adore, to photograph black bears and elk. Here’s to another year of chasing light, beauty, and moments that make time stand still. 🐻📸
