The Future Surmas— Engagement Photos

Saw a tiktok the other day of a photographer calling cloudy skies “natures softbox” and… yeah. It stormed in the morning, I was even a little worried it could storm during the session. I texted Rylie and delivered the sad news that they may not get a glowing golden hour. Her reply was that it was okay, she was “more of a cloudy skies girl anyways.”

And that brought us good karma because the lighting couldn’t have been more perfect, it was actually a dream. Barely even felt a need to edit these if I’m telling the truth!!

The Heise Wedding— 6.13.26🤍

Huge congratulations to Shelby and David on their big day! A rainy morning kept us inside through the time of their ceremony (my first Catholic ceremony as a photographer!!), then the sky opened up just in time for some photos between the ceremony and reception🙌🏻 It was very important for the bride to get some photos with her cows, so we did just that too🤷🏼‍♀️

First things first, these guys have won two titles with me already— most in love🤍, and biggest height difference🫢

These two have been together for 12 years, have two babies, and were flirting their entire session. It was extremely evident to me how much they love one another. Their height difference might have made my job a little tricky, but they made up for it simply in their vibes. May everyone find a love like this🥹

WOW. Just to start— wow. I cannot believe my bestfriend is getting SO close to welcoming her second baby boy. Cannot believe my little nephew is going to be a big brother. Cannot believe how UNREAL these photos are!! It felt impossible to narrow it down, so I just did my best. Hopefully you guys don’t mind a long little scroll for this big sneak🙌🏻
