This video production is one very close. It’s my own family.
I really can’t put into words what we experienced this week. I knew we were headed to do something that few get to experience, but it didn’t soak in until we stepped on to the salt.
I have hope that maybe this video will make it slightly understandable what we were doing this last week. What it doesn’t capture is the feeling of sending your 12 year old off into what feels like the abyss on a racetrack that is sacred in the motorsports community. A racetrack where 50,000 starts, and thousands of people have shown up to try and put their stamp on history.
This video also doesn’t capture the community of people that would rob the parts off their own bikes to help you. It doesn’t capture the victories, the losses, the camaraderie and the spirit of what it means to be a part of the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials.
We cannot thank Tommy Two Tone Racing for making this week happen.
I am positive they created one of the biggest core memories Lylah will ever have.
I did my best to put this into words, but no words are enough to describe what this week was like.
