Hey everyone — it’s been a bit since my last post, and I just wanted to say thanks for the continued support. I took a break from my photography social media for a while, but not from photography. The camera has been with me through it all — quiet mornings, wild skies, and moments like this one.
This shot was taken at the Thunder Over New Hampshire Air Show in September of one of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels solo pilots slicing through the clouds. I’ve always been drawn to landscapes and wildlife, but I’ve had a lifelong love for aviation. There’s something powerful about watching these pilots defy gravity with such precision and grace. The weather didn’t cooperate for the majority of the airshow, but once they were able to fly, the lighting for photography was perfect and the wet weather really made the v***r trails pop.
My fiancée had to laugh when I showed up with my radio scanner to listen in on their comms — but for me, that’s all part of the magic.
More new work is on the way — and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been capturing behind the scenes.
