Jenny McCarthy Photography Photographing with creativity, covering community events & volunteering services for first responders I have always loved photography.

I typically focused on architecture, landscapes, black and white, and candid shots. It wasn't until June 2014 when I volunteered to help Maine Running Photos that I learned combining two things I love, photography and running, was something I absolutely love doing! I hope to continue my love of photography and promote Maine Running Photos who do such an amazing service for the running community. I also love to cover any event related to our first responders. Having family members past and present that serve in police/fire/rescue departments, there’s a special place in my heart for first responders. I am always willing to photograph first responders FREE OF CHARGE.

October 2026 Domestic Violence Awareness/Action Month. We are lighting up the night purple to honor the victims & survivors of DV. Our action for the month is so no one is ever forgotten that has been murdered by domestic violence. In October we go purple. 💜

In honor of the firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice today in Searsmont, Maine, Central & Midcoast Maine Alerts has changed our profile picture in remembrance of this Line of Duty Death.

We continue to keep the injured firefighters, their families, and all responding agencies in our thoughts as this difficult incident remains under investigation.

Rest easy, firefighter. Your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
