Tiny Deer Studio Tiny Deer Studio features the work of Jessica Watkins, a Texas-born Chicana artist. Occasionally a person or a pastry will jump in front of her camera.

Houston-based photographer Jessica Lopez produces images of vintage bone china animals and borrowed action figures. Postcards and Prints can be found online at the sites listed on the page and in person at Space Montrose in Houston, TX.

I made a visit to my little space inside of Cargo today! I got to chat with other vendors, chat with the lovely Bridgid about bringing in discos and suncatchers, and take some measurements for an improved display situation (which I’m building).

Cargo was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Portland, and I immediately knew I needed to be part of it. Becoming part of this incredible space and community is a literal dream come true!

I’ve talked to some folks in Portland who have never been, and honestly, what are y’all doing?! It’s the best place for gifts of all kinds, and I can basically never leave empty handed. 🙈

I still have a handful of these incredible swan bolos that I made with 𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓪𝓮 ✶! I’m obsessed with Danae’s illustration style and crossing my fingers that I can make it to Seattle for a tattoo soon. 🤗

Also, y’all have been really into the bird bolos. What bird should I make next? 🤔

I’ve been busy, busy, busy over here! There’s a lot going on behind the scenes, which can sometimes cause me to retreat into my brain a little too much. 🥵

Some updates:
You can now find almost all of my bolo ties, a ton of earrings and most of my hats at Cargo! I have a sweet little end cap display that I’ll keep stocked for y’all.

I’ve got my winter market schedule finalized! I’m only doing two this season, because they take a huge physical toll on me and I need to take care of my health.

I’ll be listing tickets soon for a kinetic mobile workshop! Keep your eyes peeled and let me know if you’ve been waiting for another charm party to be scheduled. 🤗

Would you believe me if I told you I shot photos and videos of these and more, with the intention of updating and adding listings to my shop…and then I had too many technical difficulties when trying to edit them? And then I looked at the photos for so long that now I don’t actually like them and want to reshoot everything? 🙈

I am who I am.
