From Kruger's Landing in Lansing, Michigan this spectacular Saturday! One of the local Bald Eagles was sitting in the tree again just across the river from the kayak launch! This again was an exercise in being at the right place at the right time because I was sitting there waiting for it to fly for just 14 minutes then it took off up river in my direction again! Hope you all enjoy!

Oh boy, what a morning for me at Kruger's Landing in Lansing, Michigan today! As I got there with the fog still hanging low I saw one of the local adult Bald Eagles sitting on the bare tree just minding its own business. So I quickly got out of my car and grabbed my camera! Then shortly thereafter it turned a bit stretching it's one wing to stay balanced facing me directly! Then a brief moment later it took off right over me heading towards the nest! I hope you enjoy these photos and also hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day America!
