Unseasonably warm temps and plenty of sunshine had locals flocking to beaches, state parks, and anywhere outdoors this weekend. I, of course, was one of them. :)

The moments after a thunderstorm ends, when the air is crisp and clean, and the earth is one big puddle mirrored back at you.
Tonight’s stormy weather inspired this fun find.

There is a feeling of happiness and nostalgia each time I drive under these green arches. And this particular evening did not disappoint.
I’ve reset my socials and slowly making it back here (yay!). Hopefully you’ll see me a bit more as we continue into the sweet summer months.

Sheets of ice created by the polar vortex trace the shoreline tonight at sunset on the edge of casco bay. Portland set a new record with -45°F windchill temps on Saturday. It was…cold.

I don’t think I’ve been happier to see temps in the 20s and 30s as I had today. 🌤️

sneak peek: obrien family

You know it’s going to be a fun afternoon when “rolling down the hill” is first on their agenda.
I absolutely love seeing this family year, after year, after year. The boys are getting so tall and are such wonderful tiny humans!
Of course, we did capture some with more traditional smiles as well, but these images are a tiny slice of their fun and crazy personalities!

The Valentine’s Day Bandit (Phantom) has again brought the love to downtown Portland. ❤️❤️❤️

Since 1976, the Valentine’s Day Bandit has been painting downtown Portland red with his many paper hearts and a few, well-placed giant hearts. Thank you to the bandit “team” and this fantastic, creative community. We love you!🙌
