Today was my first solo afternoon printing photogravures. Ray Bidegain has been showing the way and helped me make the plates.
It’s a beautiful process with lots of possibilities and it’s a much less toxic alternative to wet plate or silver nitrate.

I was able to pick up the Photogravure I made with last month. They are awesome in real life. The first is on Japanese Washi And the other two on vellum. I plan on gilding the two on vellum with gold.
