So excited to share a sneak peek of this session! Stacy contacted me from Wisconsin (Yes, I travel 🤭📍📸) so I found a beautiful farm near Michigan City, Indiana for us to meet halfway at and let me tell you… it did not disappoint 😍🌻🌞👀💛

I had a Bo***ir session today at the studio and as we were walking out together, she asked me how I got into photography. This got me thinking and I want to share my story with everyone who is new to my business page or has ever been curious themselves.

I have ALWAYS loved taking photos… I was the unofficial photographer at any family gathering and my friends could always count on me to snap pictures as well. My Grandpa Rick (Enrique Luna) was the same way. We would send photos back and forth daily (boy do I miss that) luckily I saved a lot and have so many of his photos to look back on.

✨ One cool thing that people may not know is the top picture on the banners that are hung up around Portland is actually one that he took ✨

The weekend before he unexpectedly passed away, we went to the VFW for breakfast with some of our family on Sunday morning. I didn’t know this was going to be the last time I spent with my grandpa in this life, especially because we were so close to him walking me down the aisle. I went around Portland to take photos after and he told me I should be a photographer. I told him “Maybe one day”. This was one of the last things he ever said to me and I am so thankful he left me with that.

Photography is the only thing I have ever been truly passionate about and it has changed my life in the best way. I truly believe this is exactly where I am suppose to be. I chose to name my business Luna Photography to honor him and always have my maiden name be a huge part of who I am forever.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and continues supporting me by letting me create memories for you. It makes me so happy, I mean SO happy. I have been able to make this my full time job because of you all and I will continue to learn, grow and invest in my business (why do I have to have such an expensive passion?) Haha.

It means so much to me that you are here for my journey. Thank you! 📸
