This week I was able to join fellow Yelp elite squad folks for a beautiful tasting dinner with

Everything was artfully presented and delicious. I admit I was not a big fan of Indian food as my dad took me a few times when I was younger but it was the buffets that probably didn’t do it justice. This was a great reintroduction and my favorites were the fried eggplant and the beet veggie cakes. I’m definitely going back and ordering those for sure. The really icing on the top is that the owner and his staff consistently came around during each tasting round to assure me the dish was either gluten free or what to avoid so I could still try a portion. It made me feel at ease and comfortable with eating almost 95% of the menu which was mostly gluten free.

I highly recommend this restaurant for great service and food!

Last month we celebrated my daughters first birthday and if anyone knows our family well, we love everything Disney. My husband and I have actually gone a few times since we started dating (with no kids) because we’re big kids! So I was excited and looking forward to designing and planning my daughters birthday. Somethings I had to scale back on but it turned out great and of course had a Disney theme. We went with the castle motif for most of the theme and each table was a different Disney movie that we love. I didn’t want to just stick to the princesses as we both love other movies that send a great message. I’ll post the center pieces a bit later but here’s a quick glimpse at our celebration theme.

My daughter wore the Disney animators collection toddler dress which was perfect for our theme and she looked so cute! Stay tuned for my post on our Disney trip which was our gift to her for her first birthday.
