KICK IT LIKE BONHAM! 🤘🥁

Since John Bonham's untimely death in 1980, only a few drummers have brought a faithful recreation of his live performances to a big stage.

Enter Los Angeles native Derek Smith, who now sits on the throne once occupied by the legendary Adam Ferraioli.

I can hardly think of anyone more worthy of continuing the legacy of both of these amazing drummers.

"Gonna change my ways tonight / Nobody's fault but mine" 🙏

This iconic song never fails to give me chills, and I'm so grateful to have captured it live. One of my personal favorite solos from the GTLO experience, where the energy of the crowd and the band's performance came together in perfect harmony. Eddie gets the big solo on this one and takes it back and forth across the stage, his guitar screaming with every note. The way he commands the audience's attention is always truly mesmerizing! ❤️🎸

Guitar: 1968 Fender Telecaster

THIS IS MY GUITAR - There are many like it, but this one is mine! 🎸

Jimmy Page’s Dragon Telecaster is a 1959 Fender Telecaster (ash body, maple neck, slab rosewood board, top-loader bridge) that Jeff Beck gave him in 1966 after Page helped Beck land the Yardbirds gig; Page first glued eight circular mirrors to the blonde body in early 1967, then stripped it and, over an evening, hand-painted a swirling psychedelic dragon in poster-paint greens, reds, oranges, yellows and blues, adding a clear acrylic pick guard with diffraction film. It became his main guitar for the late Yardbirds and almost all of Led Zeppelin I, and he later used it for the “Stairway to Heaven” solo before a house-sitter painted over the artwork; Page stripped the body and stored the guitar for decades until he and Fender recreated the dragon finish in 2019.
