A change moving forward…
I’ve made the decision that moving forward, I will no longer be posting identifiable photos of children’s faces on my photography business pages.
This isn’t because I’m any less proud of the families I photograph. Quite the opposite — I care deeply about protecting the people who trust me with their memories.
With the recent reports of innocent photos of children being taken from the internet and manipulated using AI to create horrific and sexually abusive images, I just can’t justify taking that risk with the children I photograph.
Unfortunately, we live in a time where a completely innocent photograph can be taken, altered, and used in ways a parent never intended.
Your children’s safety and privacy will always matter more to me than content for my business.
I’ll still be sharing beautiful galleries, but going forward that may mean more photos from behind, details, hands, candid moments, family connections, and images where children’s faces aren’t identifiable.
