Late to the party, but today marks one year of NCW- Nextgen Championship Wrestling!

I had a really hard time choosing some of my favorites from over the past year—there have been so many great moments, matches, and memories. But I managed to narrow it down to 'a few' that I wanted to share.

The closing moments descended into absolute chaos. Mani Ariez caught Malos Morgan in a surprise headlock that looked ready to end the match, but before the champion could tap, Reverend Nobody distracted the referee. That opening allowed the Church of Filth's newest member, to slip into the ring and reverse the hold into a pin for Malos before quietly disappearing.

The referee gave the count and Malos Morgan retained the NCW Championship. While it rang out, the bell couldn't stop what came next. As the Church of Filth celebrated, tempers exploded. Security rushed in to es**rt Mani away. Shortly after, Big Moves Bill and Nelson Noble stormed to the ring. Bill pointed at Reverend Nobody and shouted, "You took family from me!" before throwing the first punch, while Nelson charged the champion.

Within moments, the locker room emptied as wrestlers poured into the ring trying to pull everyone apart—or join the fight. Then, in one final jaw-dropping moment, Mani returned and launched himself onto the entire pile with a swanton, bringing the arena to its feet.

The Church of Filth eventually escaped with the championship in hand, but not before Mani grabbed a microphone and shouted after them: "Why you runnin'?!"

Malos Morgan could hardly believe the referee's two-count. The champion pulled Mani back to his feet, but the challenger slipped free, slid behind him, and answered with a powerbomb of his own. Mani hooked the leg but Malos kicked out.

As Reverend Nobody returned to the apron, the distraction once again proved costly. Malos seized the opening, driving Mani hard into the mat before going for another pinfall. It looked to be over, but at the last possible moment Mani stretched a foot onto the bottom rope, forcing the referee to stop the count and keeping his championship hopes alive.

Mani Ariez dug deep, muscling Malos Morgan into a thunderous powerbomb before hooking the leg. The referee dropped into position...but the count never finished.

Reverend Nobody had climbed onto the apron and yanked the official clean out of the ring, stopping the pinfall. As the referee and Reverend Nobody erupted into an argument at ringside, Mani watched in disbelief while Malos used the chaos to recover.

Fed up, Mani marched to the ropes, grabbed Reverend Nobody by the hair, and nearly hauled them into the ring by their scalp.

That moment of payback came at a price. Malos blasted Mani from behind with a crushing elbow, then exploded through him with a spear. With the challenger stunned, the champion hoisted him onto his shoulders and drove him into the mat with a devastating Death Valley Driver.

Malos Morgan looked to keep control, but Mani Ariez refused to stay down. A sharp chop from the challenger briefly halted the champion's momentum before Malos answered by driving Mani hard into the corner, knocking the wind out of him. A quick cover earned only a two-count before Malos cinched in another sleeper hold.

Mani battled back to his feet, powering Malos into the turnbuckles to break the hold. He followed with another blistering chop, charged the corner, and connected with a dropkick that had the crowd roaring.

Growing frustrated, Malos raked Mani's eyes and hoisted him onto the top turnbuckle, looking for a superplex. Mani fought back with body shots and a headbutt that sent the champion crashing to the mat before following with a top-rope dropkick.

Both men were spent. Malos sprang up first, reaching for another chokeslam, but Mani slipped free with a sharp elbow, whipped the champion across the ring, and answered with a thunderous slam as the championship battle continued to swing back and forth.

The champion came out swinging, but Mani Ariez was ready. Sidestepping Malos Morgan's opening charge, Mani trapped him in the corner and unloaded a series of thunderous chops and clubbing blows before sending the champion scrambling to the outside.

Not content to let him regroup, Mani launched himself over the corner with a flying axe handle, keeping the pressure on before rolling back into the ring and lining up for a dive.

Malos had it scouted and the champion caught Mani in mid-charge and drove him spine-first onto the ring apron with a brutal powerbomb. Rolling back inside, Malos watched as the referee's count climbed, forcing Mani to crawl back into the ring at the count of nine.

There was no time to recover. Malos planted the challenger with a brainbuster, stood triumphantly on Mani's head, then locked in a rope-assisted sleeper. As the referee forced the hold to break, Reverend Nobody took advantage of the distraction, reaching in to clamp a devastating cranial claw onto Mani before the ref noticed.

The main event of the evening had championship gold on the line as Mani Ariez challenged Malos Morgan for the NCW Championship.

The challenger was out first.

The moment Mani Ariez's music hit, the sold-out Nashua crowd erupted to its feet, chanting "YES SIRRRR!" as he made his way around the ring, feeding off the energy of the NCW faithful before stepping between the ropes.

Then came the champion. There was even more prestige surrounding the title this time around - as the championship belt had been unveiled earlier in the evening with a brand-new design—a rich brown leather strap adorned with gleaming gold plates that now rested proudly on the shoulder of the reigning champion.

Accompanied by Reverend Nobody, Malos Morgan marched toward the ring with the newly unveiled title slung over his shoulder. The cheers instantly gave way to a chorus of boos, but the champion never flinched, staring down Mani as he entered the ring for what promised to be an unforgettable main event.

Brahim stayed on the attack, escaping Teddy's grasp to deliver a crushing stomp before going for the pin, but the former champion kicked out at two. Teddy answered with a flurry of strikes and a huge elbow before catching Brahim's aerial crossbody attempt and planting him with a thunderous Samoan Drop for the three-count, eliminating the NCW newcomer.

With Teddy barely able to recover, Jason Vaunt pounced. The Church of Filth member crashed down with a quick splash for a two-count, then stomped away at Teddy before choking him across the ropes. Vaunt transitioned into a sleeper hold, but Teddy fought his way back to his feet. Vaunt tried to stop the comeback with another strike, only for Teddy to break free and answer with a hard back elbow.

The exchange left both men exhausted, collapsing to the canvas before slowly rising to their knees, trading punch after punch as the Nashua crowd roared them on.

Teddy Jaxx weathered the storm and finally turned the tide, blocking Jason Vaunt's punches before taking control. He whipped Vaunt across the ring, leveled him with a running elbow, and followed it up with a thunderous Samoan Drop that had the Nashua crowd believing the former champion had it won.

Teddy signals for his signature Funky Elbow. But Reverend Nobody had other plans.

A timely distraction from ringside broke Teddy's focus for just a moment—more than enough time for Vaunt to recover. Seizing the opening, Vaunt struck with Bleeding Edge, hooking the leg for the three-count and stealing the victory with a little help from the Church of Filth.
