Hi Everyone, It has been a long time since I have posted on this page and some of you may be wondering what is up. For years I have enjoyed working with all of you on orders for custom purses, key fobs, camera straps etc. It has been a great ride. As many of you know I started working at Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More of Naperville a couple years ago in addition to my Lorijoz Unique Gifts store. I was given the opportunity to purchase the Big Frog store in Naperville and because I love creating things and working there decided it was a great fit for me. Unfortunately it means I won't have time on my hands to sew custom purses etc. I will still be selling limited key fobs out of the Big Frog Store in addition to the cool things we already sell. (can coolies, mouse pads, t shirts, sweatshirts, golf towels, puzzles, etc) So if you need a quick custom gift or just want to say hi please stop in or call. My first day at my new job is May 31 :). Thanks for supporting me for all of these years. It has truly been a pleasure.

Recently my maltese was diagnosed with IVDD. (degenerative disc disorder) Once she recovers she will no longer be able to do steps. If you have a small older dog (not recommended for large dogs) that needs to be kept from steps and don't want to spend a lot of money on gates. Here is a fashionable cheap way to gate that you can step over to block your pet . Just take two tension rods and sew the ends of fabric to slide the rods through.

Purse Fabric Options

I have lots of people asking me about fabric options. This is one of the hardest parts about custom bags. I get a lot of my fabrics at Hobby Lobby. As many of you know I used to work there. Most of the fabrics at Hobby Lobby stay the same and every once in a while they will discontinue one or add a new design. There is no way of knowing when something will be clearanced out. Unfortunately Hobby Lobby's web site does not do the fabric section justice. So I snapped some pics while I was there yesterday 3/10/15. I also order fabric from a website called www.fabric.com however I have to pay shipping for orders under $35 so I usually only use this site for group orders. You are welcome to order a purse made from material from fabric.com but I will have to up the cost of the bag to cover the shipping of the material to me if I am not doing a group order. I have lots of material at my house. If you are local and would like to stop by to see material just send me a message. (FYI my purses are primarily made from "duck" or "canvas" material)
