Picture this: you walk into Creative Chem Co, grab a glass of wine (or something equally good sans alcohol), snack a little, breathe a little, and then step in front of the camera feeling completely yourself in the coolest space ever.

That’s the vibe we’re creating at Creative Faces + Spaces: A VIP Portrait Experience on Saturday June 27th from 4PM-8PM. Each 20-minute session is $125 and includes 3 full-resolution professionally retouched images.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session time so you can settle in. If you’re ready to claim your spot or have questions, email [email protected] or comment below!

See your beautiful faces there 🤩☺️😋😎

To be honest, 2025 started with a breakdown and reconsidering whether or not I needed to move on from photography. Without getting into too much detail, the year looked very uncertain and a 9 to 5 very appealing. As I roll into year 10 of being a legitimate business, and out of my busiest year ever, I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love. What a mistake it would have been to do anything else. This year brought so many new kinds of experiences and I am thankful for the fresh perspective.

Most importantly, my appreciation for you all is overflowing. Thank you to my past and future clients-turned-friends, to my creative sounding boards, and to my photographer colleagues for trusting me as the wedding day 4th wheel 🤭

So, the stats -

This year I found myself at 31 weddings… 33 if you wanna count one assisting and the wedding of my bestie 💍

I worked alongside 13 different wedding photographers 👯

Photographed 4 non-wedding events, including my favorite Glory Daze Motorcycle Show yet 🏍️

Photography took me to 7 states. 5 of those (+ Canada) were touring with Buffalo Rose music 🚐

Speaking of, Buffalo Rose released an album in September featuring images we created together 🎶

I photographed 9 studio sessions this year; that’s more than I ever have and I REALLY hope that number doubles in 2026⚡️

I became a creative ambassador at the MuseumLab and met some of the coolest creatives 🎨

I created imagery to help promote the Illuminate fashion show in collaboration with Create Art Together …and then photographed my first ever fashion show! 🎭

Stuck with my goal of sharing more blog posts and pressed “publish” 14 times 📝

The focus of 2026 will be on manifesting projects that are in alignment with my strengths. I’m hoping to see collaborations that involve more extensive styling, studio challenges, vintage flair, and (of course) connection. I’d also like to keep up with exploring personal style through my story fit checks, and overall do a better job at bringing you along for BTS shenanigans. 2026 is being welcomed with rejuvenation… and maybe even a bit of excitement for more (inevitable) unexpected twists 💚

I can’t believe it’s already time to reflect on 2025 and that I’m writing “a highlight of my year was...” This year flew by, but one thing I want to take a moment to be thankful for is my ambassadorship for the MuseumLab’s new Creative Membership program. Being a part of this vibrant community was, at the minimum, inspiring. I met so many artists, crafters, educators, and all around creative-minded humans open to growth and community. Bonus that the makes for the most beautiful playful textural backdrop of my dreams.

Cat Burton ([email protected]) is the mastermind behind this program, and is the point of contact if you wanna become a member yourself. Here’s a whole list of benefits if you need more reason to join:
- Open studio/coworking access in the Assembly Hall and Gathering Space
- Creatives events
- Guests welcome with two passes
- Monthly workshops and art critiques
- Reciprocal membership at 350+ cultural hubs nationwide
- Quality hang time with Tori (okay, maybe not a formal benefit, but def a consideration)

All of this to say, becoming a member made my 2025 pretty dang special and I can’t wait for all the new creatives I’ll get to meet (and photograph) in the new year. Are you in?

Erica reached out with a clear vision for her branding and headshot session. She wanted to look polished and professional while still feeling joyful, warm, and friendly. What do you all think? Do you think we accomplished her goals? Read about what my longtime pal Erica had to say about her headshot session on the blog!

Branding and headshot session for Pittsburgh wedding photographer Erica Hilliard at Opya Studios. Warm, polished, and approachable branding photos.

All Hallows Eve (aka my birthday eve) felt like the perfect time to share these moody, cinematic, and hauntingly beautiful portraits of Tori during her session at Allegheny Cemetery 🪦👻

As summer faded and spooky season crept in, Tori’s Allegheny Cemetery portrait session brought all the moody, creative energy with two bold looks, rich light, and a cinematic Pittsburgh backdrop.

Hello, everyone! My personal facebook was hacked a few years ago, and unfortunately I lost access to the original VIP page. After much struggle to regain access, I decide to create a new Facebook business page for VIP.

I'm looking forward to sharing all of my current work with you. Any shares/likes/page follows are much appreciated as I re-start this page from scratch! 💚
