It was a little over a year ago that I got news my cat had cancer. For years I thought I would lose her to her worsening kidney disease, but the big bad “C” word came and took her away from me instead.
When I found out that’s what she had, I froze. I realized I was losing her faster than I had thought, and I had never had a proper photo taken with her.
She was by my side for 13 years and I had never had a frame-worthy photo of her and I.
I immediately called my dear friend Dawn Derbyshire Photography and asked her to take some of us before she left this earth.
She did.
Those photos mean more to me than any other tangible item in my home.
Since then, I’ve wanted to offer this service to other folks with senior pets.
So here I am. A year later, I’m ready to offer this service to anyone out there with a senior fuzzy friend they’d like to make memories with.
