A while back I mentioned I might post some old photos, well incidentally it seems I missed the 10 year anniversary of them. So, without any more delay here are the very first pictures I took that got me interested in photography.

Last night I was invited out by Andrew Gardner to shoot some photos of the Tryouts for the Pittsburgh Thunderbirds. Doing sports photography was a welcomed challenge and I had a wonderful time talking with the other photographer there and some of the players. Here's a couple shots from the night as well as a link to my personal highlights of the tryouts:

My second story with burgh TV involved covering a local performer named Frank LaVelle. Frank heads down ton Market Square every so often with a boombox to sing karaoke, most of it from Frank Sinatra. Watching Frank getting people involved in his performance was by far one of the most enjoyable things I've ever seen take place in Market Square and in just about everything he did, he remained completely photogenic. His lovely singing voice sealed the deal on what was an excellent evening of photography. Here are a couple photos that I feel stood out to me as well as a link to the full album: https://goo.gl/photos/QBq4otQkHZ4QYrBg8.
Enjoy!

Last week, I had my first hands on experience doing portraits and I had so much fun! I got to work with a friend of mine from school, Dana Demsko, and she was a complete natural when it came to posing! She also had the added bonus of not taking herself too seriously so we had a lot of laughs all throughout, some of which I got on camera of course. The weather and lighting were also absolutely perfect, so it was a wonderful day through and through. Here's a couple photos from the day, which I've gotta say I'm pretty proud of.

So last week I had my very first experience taking photos for burgh TV, a local Pittsburgh SnapChat story run by the lovely Michelle Flynn. We were out visiting Studiome, which had just celebrated their grand opening. It was the coolest thing, there were three different studios for recording audio/video content, fancy dressing rooms, a slew of computers for editing, and tons of equipment ready to rent out to budding audio, visual artists. It was definitely the perfect place for me to shoot my first story with burgh TV and I found myself absolutely in awe of the space and everything available. If you're an aspiring filmmaker, blogger, podcast-er, or any other kind of audio, visual artist, you should do yourself a favor and check this place out. I had a blast and I look forward to covering more stories with burgh TV. I've included a handful of pictures from my day at Studiome and I also included a link below to the full album, feel free to check it all out!

Hi everyone,

I realize I've been absent on this page for quite a long time now, but I wanted to inform you all of some good news. This past week, I had the pleasure of participating in 3 different photography shoots and spent the weekend rendering all of the content to have it ready to edit this week. As such, tomorrow evening I will be posting my first update in a series of what I hope to be semi-regular posts. I've included a little sneak peek as a way to thank all of you for being so patient. I truly appreciate the loyalty and support of each and every one of you!

If you happen to remember I did a story last month on a veteran and his service dog. He happened to stop in last week to chat for a bit and gave me a bit of an update on how he's doing. As of last Friday he has officially started his chemotherapy and has been moved into St. Joes hospitality house. It makes me so happy seeing one of America's Veterans taken care of, especially at a time when stories of mistreated veterans are so common. Please keep both Don and O'Ryan in your thoughts and hearts as he undergoes the healing process. Thank you.

Hullo! I realize I've been on hiatus here for quite a bit. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still practicing photography, but I've been rather busy with life recently and that's made it difficult to find time for updates. Be on the look out for some photos soon though, as well as an update to one of the photos from my 30 Day Photo Challenge. In the meantime feel free to check out the album I promised a few weeks ago; 50 Watt: https://goo.gl/photos/xMP9udvqdDp67umN8
