What makes every wedding special for us is that not one is the same.

They all have different vibes, filled with people of different backgrounds, different personalities and stories but all there for the same purpose, to celebrate two becoming one.

Will be spamming our feed with my lil sister’s elopement until further notice, just so ya know!! This simple bouquet had greenery pulled from our childhood home, which reflected the entire day centered around simplicity, childhood memories, and being surrounded by our immediate family to celebrate Andrew & Kenzie’s new beginning đŸ©¶

Little details like this remind us that when planning for your wedding, no matter how big or small, it doesn’t need to be “Pinterest worthy”. What’s important is centering the day around what is important to you, because when you look back at the photos you’ll think of the “why” not “how will this look on my feed”. You’ll think about the happy tears shed and shared between family, the hugs, the laughs and the love you experienced on your special day.

In a world of perfectionism, AI, aesthetic, I urge you to pull back into realism, importance and love. đŸ©¶

From a Khamvongsa to a Raleigh đŸ©¶

What a privilege it was to be home last week for my lil sister’s intimate elopement. đŸ˜­đŸ©¶

The day was bittersweet in the sweetest way. From getting ready in our childhood home, to Andrew & Kenzie sharing their first look in our sister’s room, the same room where we spent so many nights laughing together, crying with one another, and sharing our hopes and dreams for the future. It truly felt like a full-circle moment.

And then, watching them say “I do” in the mountains of Red Rock, with Noah getting to marry them, was just the sweetest ending to it all.

Although Noah and I haven’t had children of our own yet, watching Kenzie grow into this incredible woman and find the person whom her soul loves has been a form of parenthood I don’t really know how to explain. I’ve always wished for all of my siblings to find their person, find the things that make their hearts come alive, and create a life that feels like their own. It’s been an immense joy getting to watch Kenzie find hers.

To the Raleighs, we love you both so much and can’t wait to see where life takes you. đŸ©¶

I think I say this every session, but it’s true. To see love take form in many different ways, in between all couples from different backgrounds, makes our hearts melt. The things that don’t seem to change between all our couples is the in between laughs, the totally in love glances at one another and the connection you feel just being around them. And what a joy it is to walk these new stages of life with each one of them. đŸ©¶
