Skydio cuts off the best consumer grade drones (DJI) in 2025, effectively blocking new foreign drones & devices from FCC approval (Covered List), and then pivots to focus on the enterprise market (public safety, defense, utilities, etc) creating a supply gap for consumer grade drones and imposing egregious circumstances for "choice and competition."

Skydio has announced a $3.5B investment in U.S. manufacturing following a series F fundraising round in which it was valued at $4.4B.

DJI - thank you for TRANSPARENCY. We are very frustrated and disturbed by the way this business has been handled. So much for consumer choice and competition in America. The situation appears as described "economic protectionism disguised as a national security issue" and where accusation is not supported by a welcome audit.
