5 days old and so sweet for his session đź’™

Newborn sessions typically take place when baby is 5-14 days old. This is primarily for baby safety, they still love the curled up positioning and have the joint flexibility for the poses. This is also best for their sleep patterns with wakeful periods usually being 20-45 minutes, and if it happens during the session, allowing us to get a few open eye portraits, give baby a feed and then back to sleep for more portraits.

There are exceptions to this and every baby is different. Some babies aren't as flexible and we alter their posing, some babies decide they want to be awake for the majority of their session and we roll with it getting more awake portraits. I've held newborn sessions for baby's up to one month, so if your baby is past that 2 week point and you feel like you missed out - still reach out - as long as my schedule is not full I will try my best to fit you in - its never too late to get adorable pictures of your baby!

Speaking of full schedule - books are open now through April 2027
I recommend booking when you are in your second or early third trimester to ensure your spot - only a limited number are booked each month. We book based on your due date and then get your session officially scheduled when baby arrives no matter if baby arrives before, after or right on your due date.

It is time to book your holiday sessions!
Family Sessions available November 1st and 21st!
Your choice between the fireplace set or garland arch with bow.
15 minutes, 5-10 retouched digital images, $175 +tax

Santa Sessions take place on November 22nd!
These are kids only sessions.
Santa will be sitting on a couch in front of the garland arch.
15 minutes, 5 retouched digital images, $200 +tax

For the family session set selections:
The fireplace set is best for families with 1-4 people
The holiday arch can be 1-6 people
All mini sessions are for immediate family, extended family sessions must be booked separately.

Do you have a sweet little one who is less than 2 weeks old?

I’m looking for newborn babies to model for a beautiful newborn photography session this week in exchange for a waived session fee and 3 retouched digital images.

This is a wonderful opportunity to capture those tiny details that change so quickly—sweet little fingers and toes, sleepy smiles, and all those brand-new baby snuggles. 🤍

📸 Looking for:
• Baby 5-18 days old at the time of the session
• Parents comfortable with images being shared on social media and in my portfolio
• Baby available for a weekday morning session
• Studio located in New Kensington, PA

✨ Model Call Includes:
Full Session experience: 2-3 hour session, posed newborn images on a beanbag, swaddled images in a variety of props and portraits in newborn outfits. Optional parent and sibling portraits available also!

Wear a removable layer - suit jacket or a cardigan can really change a look and give you different options with minimal change.

Also, ladies, don't be afraid to change up your hair mid session - wear it down for a few, bring a claw clip or band to toss it up for some.
