After second shooting a wedding in Boulder, I took the scenic route home through Lafayette — and I’m really glad I had my camera with me. The light behind Longs Peak had other plans for my evening.

Some places hold their stories quietly, waiting for the right light to tell them. Abbott Church has stood on the Colorado plains since 1913, and I’ve had the privilege of watching her come back to life — one golden sunset at a time. From weathered siding to a brand-new cedar shake roof, this little church on the prairie is being given a second chance. I’ll keep showing up with my camera as long as she’ll have me.

A visit to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keensburg, CO — where rescued animals get a second chance at a life worth living. From a curious fox peeking around the rocks, to a tiger pausing at the water’s edge, to a grizzly bear owning every inch of the frame — these animals carry stories of survival. And sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is simply rest.

Hey, I'm Erica — and if you're new here, welcome!

I've been a photographer for nearly 20 years, and honestly? I still get excited every single time I pick up my camera. There's something about freezing a moment in time that never gets old.

I'm based in the Denver / Boulder area and I specialize in capturing the real stuff — the in-between moments, the belly laughs, the happy tears, the quiet glances. The moments you didn't even know were happening until you see them in a photo.

Here's a little of what I do:

💍 Weddings & Elopements — Hourly coverage starting at $500, built around your day and your timeline.

🤍 Engagements & Portraits — Couples, families, maternity, newborns, seniors. $375 for up to 1.5 hours.

⚡ Mini Sessions — Perfect for a quick refresh or milestone moment. $200 for 30–45 minutes.

🎯 Headshots — Clean, professional, and done in under 30 minutes. Starting at $150.

All sessions include hand-edited, high-resolution images delivered in an online gallery with full print and sharing rights.

I'm currently offering limited-time pricing across all sessions — so if you've been thinking about it, now's a great time to reach out.

I'd love to work with you.

Some moments just feel different on film.

These frames were captured on 35mm film with my Mamiya Sekor, and I just got the scans back from the lab. There’s something about film—the softness, the light, the imperfections—that feels like it holds the moment exactly as it was.

Photographing a wedding is always special, but this one meant even more. I’ve known the bride for over 20 years, and getting to document these moments as both a friend and a photographer was something I’ll always be grateful for.

From golden hour portraits of the newlyweds to a quiet moment of her daughter with her boyfriend, these are the kinds of memories that make me love what I do.

Film just has a way of telling the story differently.

Back again! Headshots day!

From getting ready with mom to saying I do surrounded by their favorite people — this day was filled with love, laughter, and the most beautiful desert views.

The perfect beginning to their forever. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day isn’t the timeline — it’s the in-between moments.

The laughter with bridesmaids.
The deep breath before the ceremony.
The quiet hug from mom.
The joy, the nerves, the love — all the little pieces that make the day feel real.

These are the moments that tell the story beyond the dress and the details — the ones that will matter even more years from now.

Some weddings are special. This one was personal.

I’ve known this beautiful bride for over 20 years, and getting to stand behind the camera to capture her rehearsal and wedding day was truly an honor. From the quiet details to the moments that meant everything, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories in the making.

There’s something incredibly meaningful about photographing someone who has been part of your story for so long — and now getting to document the beginning of their next chapter.

Congratulations, my friend. Your love story was a joy to capture. 🤍
