What’s being a busy photographer if not realizing you haven’t updated your bio or profile photo in almost 10 years?
Hi everyone! Felt like I should reintroduce myself since, much to my surprise, time marches on and life continues to grow! In the last few years since I graduated NAU with my photography degree, I have experienced a lot of the landmark moments life has to offer. So here it goes:
🏡January 2023 my fiancée and I bought our first house in Munds Park, Arizona. We have a lovely secluded home in the pines, and have met so many amazing friends in this community! Being a homeowner has been a whirlwindof ups and downs, but boy is it fun.
💍November 5th, 2023 I married my wonderful husband Robert Wright— it was the hottest summer on record in a long time, but that didn’t stop us from having a GORGEOUS wedding surrounded by our friends and family. That day I also gained a stepdaughter, yet another bright light in my life.
🤰🏼October 19th, 2024 two little red lines showed up on a pregnancy test I took on a whim. In that moment my entire reality shifted, realizing I was growing my little one. For nine months it was just her and I, feeling her kicks and getting to know her.
🍼June 21st, 2025 I brought my little girl into the world. Eleanor Joyce, my beautiful, healthy, incredible daughter, has brought me the greatest happiness and more love in my life than I ever thought imaginable.
📸September 5th, 2025 I had my final day at the job that had been my career starting senior year of college. 6 years at the Shane Knight Gallery taught me so many lessons like how to run a business, how to design, frame, and sell amazing artwork , and more importantly it brought me my husband, some of the closest friends I have, and a life that I love. I owe so much of what I have today to the job I applied for on a desperate whim one day before my final year at NAU.
And that pretty much brings us up to speed! Lots can happen in a short amount of time, and I have learned to not let life pass you by. Take advantage of any moments you can, tell people you love them, and be the joy that you wish to see in the world. And maybe snap a photo or two when you can, you never know what moments will go by in the blink of an eye.
