Some projects stay with you long after the shoot wraps. The Desert Classic is one of them.

Since the very first year of this event, Everardo Keeme and Photo Fusion Studio has had the privilege of being chosen by Tori Totlis (www.competeconfidencegolf.com) to capture what has grown into one of the most electric women's golf tournaments in the country -- 440+ women, two full shotguns, three days of competition, music, vendors, and a community that is genuinely unlike anything else in the game.

Watching this event evolve year over year has been extraordinary. The themes are legendary, the energy is contagious, and the connections these women make on and off the course are real and lasting. That is exactly the kind of story worth documenting.
This year, that story was captured on video -- and we are proud to be a part of it. You might spot a familiar face behind the lens.

This Thanksgiving, Photo Fusion Studio is pausing to reflect and say thank you.

2025 has been an incredible year of photographing milestones, celebrations, and stories. None of it would be possible without the trust so many of you place in our team.

This year carries special meaning for our owner and lead photographer, Everardo. It is his first Thanksgiving without his mom, and that loss has brought a deeper appreciation for slowing down and cherishing the moments that truly matter. His parents were just months shy of celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. It is a reminder that love, laughter, and family are what last the longest.

One of Everardo’s favorite family memories is how his parents always welcomed the “strays” at Thanksgiving, friends, coworkers, and anyone without family nearby. Some years nearly fifty people filled the house, sharing everything from turkey and stuffing to pozole, tamales, and homemade tortillas. It was not just a feast; it was community. That same spirit of generosity and connection continues to inspire the studio’s work today.

Our Studio Manager, Danielle, shared her own reflections too:
“I’m thankful for the people who make life brighter, especially family and friends. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is our big family reunion in Iowa. It is loud, chaotic, and full of laughter. And yes, mashed potatoes and gravy are still unbeatable.” 🥶
