Simply amazing. As a kid in the 80’s, my parents took us on a day trip to Nogales. I remember stopping here and the imagery was burned into my memory forever. This mission dates back to the 1700s. Some of its extraordinary history such as the attacks by Apache Native Americans and the flood that impacted the mission, can be found on their Wikipedia page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_San_Xavier_del_Bac The oldest European structure in Arizona and an amazing find in the middle of no where!
