I am Fur Mama to Queso, Chicken & Fajita (the Fur Fiesta!) and can usually be seen drinking large amounts of cold brew coffee. I got to kick off my VERY busy fall season with some of the best people last weekend!

This family is always up for whatever I ask them to do, and I’m pretty sure I could have asked the boys to do just about anything and they would’ve been game. They are SUCH good sports!

And of course, Prescott weather right now is glorious (minus some mosquitoes last weekend)! From now until about Nov 6 is utter perfection in Prescott for photos 😍

When Harper says she wants to do her 14 birthday photos at Filiberto’s (her favorite place), you say yes immediately. 😉 ‘Cause why not?! We have been taking her birthday photos every year since she was 8, so she had to know I would be into it!
SUCH a fun night getting to do something fun and different! Also, she has the best parents that celebrate her being herself (Filiberto’s and all!). Wins all around!

One of my favorite parts of this family session last year was how obvious it was that this crew genuinely likes each other. 🥹 We laughed so much, and they were 100% up for all of my weird jokes and prompts.

One of my goals for every session is that the older kids and the dads get in the car afterward and say, "That really wasn't that bad." Honestly... that's one of the highest compliments I can receive as a family photographer!!

And can we talk about pre-teens and teenagers for a second? I know they sometimes get a bad reputation, but I absolutely love photographing them. They can be so thoughtful, funny, kind, and so much fun to be around (like these two!). Every time I leave a session like this, I think, "We're going to be okay if these guys are in charge someday." ❤️

If you've been putting off family photos because you're worried your older kids won't enjoy them, I hope this is your reminder that family sessions can actually be fun.

The cutest smile + a cozy sweater can only mean one thing... 🍂 Fall sessions are almost here!!

Emails went out this morning to my email list with all the details about this year's fall mini sessions!

If you're on my email list, you have a few days to look at your calendar, chat with your family, and decide whether a full session or mini session is the best fit for you this fall.

✨ Returning (priority) clients: Booking opens July 11 for both full sessions and mini sessions.

✨ New clients: Any remaining fall dates will open on July 23. Link in bio to sign up for my e-mail list to be the first to know when sessions open!

The perfect mix of family, Senior and 8th grade promotion photos! This family has A LOT to celebrate this spring!!
I’ve gotten to take their family photos for the past 6 years or so and it’s always struck me how much they genuinely like each other. This makes for pretty amazing teenagers! I’m also so glad that NAU gets such a great freshman this fall. My Alma mater deserves all the best students. 😉

I love that sweet window where babies are just starting to sit up, curious about everything, but not quite mobile enough to make a full escape yet. 😄

This little girl was perfectly content the whole session, staying close to mom, dad and Grandma who were so sweetly attentive to her. She’s one adored little lady (and rightfully so!).

I loved getting to meet this sweet family and capture a few moments of this season of their life!

it was all too much!

I love fall colors for photos, and also, there's something so fun and playful about spring colors and textures. The pastels, linen fabric, seersucker, florals, airy dresses, bow ties... count me in!

If you'd like to book spring photos, they are best in:

I started my business because I wanted people to see just how beautiful their real lives are… and this one — well, just look how beautiful!

Watching the way this little guy gave his mom the tightest hug and how they played airplane and giggled together — that’s the best kind of beauty. It might feel a little crazy sometimes with toddlers, but honestly, that can be the sweetest part of capturing this special season of your life.

And it probably goes without saying that I’m a total sucker for dogs in sessions. Stella 🐶 was such a good sport — she was a little confused about what we were doing in the middle of the desert, but she was fully here for the snuggles and the treats. 🐾

Spring sessions are here, and this is one of the most beautiful times of year for photos. If you’ve been thinking about booking, this is your sign — I’d love to capture your crew just like this. 🌸
