Holy wow! This incredible creature has put up with my bu****it for 24 years!!! you are truly the light of my life. The love of my life. My best friend. My ride or die till the credits roll. You are my inspiration to be better man. My reason for getting up and tackling life head on when all I want to do is give up. When things are at their hardest and darkest, you are the lighthouse on the horizon. You really are the perfect partner. Absolutely gorgeous, awe inspiringly talented, incredibly kind and empathetic. You let me be the tough dumb redneck when needed and soften all my rough edges and bring me back to earth when I spin out too much. You are perfectly perverted and incredibly silly, the funniest person I know, and wonderfully encouraging of my hare brained ideas. You are the best puppy mom and I love the passion you have for your plants and your baking and of course your students and friends. Everyday I think I couldn’t love you more and every day you prove me wrong. I love you so much angel. Thank you for the last 24 years and I am so excited to spend the rest of my life loving you. Happy anniversary baby.

Well, this is 49. Not sure how the hell that happened. It’s been a rough week and for that matter, beginning to the year. But I am so lucky to have my love and amazing friends and family and my pups. Also very thankful for my health and for for helping me on that path for the last year and half. Seems like just yesterday that I was a dumb 20 year old kid and now I’m the old man in the picture. It’s a weird one this year. And fu***ng 50 is right around the corner.

Happy birthday to the one and only . I love this absolutely gorgeous, wonderful, kind, powerful, compassionate, all around perfect human more than I can even begin to put into words. You have been my absolute best friend and partner for 23 years and I would not change one minute of it. All I want in life is to spend the rest of it with you. Every day I wake up feeling like the luckiest person on the planet. Thank you for being, for existing, for loving me. No matter what comes our way, I know I have you and you have me. Happy Father’s Day to the man, the myth, the legend, the cat lover. Any of you that have told me I’m a good dude and are impressed that I can fix a lot of stuff or say you are coming to my house when the zombies show up, can thank him (and of course my mom, but it’s Father’s Day ) for teaching me how to be a good person. Love ya Dad! (He’s not on social media and probably won’t see this, lol). 📸

Today marks 23 years together with this incredible person. is the most loving, empathetic, sexy, goofy, hilarious, compassionate, perverted, best dog mom, most fun travel partner, wonderful and tender person I have ever met. I fall in love with her all over again every morning when I wake up and go to sleep each night knowing I am the luckiest boy because she is right by my side. She is my best friend, my ride or die, my human that I would walk through fire and fight the world for. I love you angel. Thanks for keeping me around for 23 years and I am excited to spend the rest of my life with you. You’re my favorite.

So this is 48. Don’t feel a day over 49. In October I found out I’m Diabetic, type 2. Something I earned by taking horrible care of myself for long stints of time over the last 47 years. I knew it was coming and when the doctor confirmed I decided right then I needed to make some major changes. Changed my diet and life habits, thanks in huge amounts to the support and encouragement of . Then a month later got back into Muay Thai which I hadn’t trained in since I messed up my knee in 2017. It was tough first step but has become my church. I love it and everyone there. Thank you to Coach Derick, Coach Muriel and Coach Ali for whooping my old ass every class. 2024 has started off as a really tough year. Lost some friends and has some serious downs but also had some really amazing opportunities. Thank you to all my friends and family for wanting me to stay on this planet and encouraging me to be the best version of myself I can be. As of today I’m knocking on 50’s door and yet I’m in the best shape and the lowest weight I’ve been since my early 20’s. Take care of yourselves and get your bloodwork done and find the thing that gets you motivated!

Yesterday after class I got my yellow pradjit promotion. Thanks to for pushing my limits in every class. It’s pretty rad to feel more coordinated, stronger, faster and a lil less of a noob after only 6 weeks of training. Still got a long road ahead but In case you can’t tell im addicted!

Haven’t hit a bag since 2017. Im so weak and out of shape but it felt really good to be back at it. Im exhausted and can’t wait to go back on Thursday.
