For me, nature has been a consistent source of consolation. It’s given inspiration in times of doubt; Joy in times of sadness; And guidance in a times of uncertainty.
It’s been such a comfort throughout my life to know that anytime I need to, I can emerge myself in the natural spectacles of our planet, Earth for an instantaneous revitalization of my mind, body, and soul 💚💙💚💙 Through all the hardships and trials of the human experience, I try to remind myself that no matter what, at the very least, we are all blessed with the luxuries of our glorious planet.
So if you’re feeling sad today, try to remember that instead of beautiful beaches, adorable koala bears and colorful flowers, we could have been born to some barren, unsightly, or perhaps even terrifying planet, where the sky rains fire instead of water and things like 5 ft. cockroaches live in the trees, and Tyrannosaur Rex’s still roam the planet but they have 3 heads and fly.
Reminding myself of this makes me eternally grateful to have sloths and butterflies instead of giant carnivorous lizards and 10 ft. insects. This brings me a huge sense of comfort and relief and, I hope it will to you as well 🙃🦖🦥🌈🐬🏝🍉🐝🌄
