It’s been a while since I’ve written a proper post on here, so I wanted to take a moment to check in.

The flame for photography has never gone out — if anything, it’s been burning quietly and steadily in the background. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been taking time to refine, rebuild, and realign what Raw But Meaningful represents, both creatively and professionally.

I’ve recently revamped my website, begun the process of trademarking Raw But Meaningful, and started laying the foundation for future brand divisions under the Raw But Meaningful umbrella. A lot of behind-the-scenes work, a lot of intention — all with the long-term vision in mind.

That said, one thing will always remain the same: I’ll always have a camera on hand.

I’m heading into this year ready and open for portraits, events, weddings, studio sessions, and meaningful moments of all kinds. Whether it’s something intimate or something celebratory, personal or professional, I’m here to document it with the same care and presence that started this journey in the first place.

This engagement session in Philly reminded me: love is the moment you say yes—not just to each other, but to living fully.

Within just a few weeks, I had the honor of photographing both this couple’s surprise proposal and their wedding. It was a small ceremony off the beach, but the love was loud. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t need big productions or fancy setups. It’s just honest, intimate, and real. Their wedding reminded me why I made my business name what it is. Because these are the moments that matter. The ones you feel in your chest. That’s what I live for, and this is what I’ve always aimed to capture.

Caught this unforgettable moment on a rooftop in Philly — a surprise proposal between two people I’d never met, but instantly felt connected to through the lens.

The joy, the nerves, the way she looked at him after he went on one knee… everything about this was real and raw.
