Rest Easy, Jimmy.

I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Captain Ellis on numerous occasions through my photography and through the fire service in general. One thing was for certain: Jimmy was always a gentleman and treated everyone with respect. He was a “fireman’s fireman”. The stories that have been told and the showing of brotherhood yesterday truly show the kind of man Jimmy was and the impact he had on so many. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fellow firemen. Godspeed, Captain.
