MEET ME! Hello my mtmp followers, my name is Kristina, I’m the moon loving beach bum behind the camera. I fell in love with photography at a very young age. When I was 12 I started a dog walking business just to save all the money to buy my first digital camera (I still have it all these years later) When I started college I took a chance on black and white photography class not knowing anything about it, I didn’t know it was possible but that class managed to strengthen the passion I have for this incredible art. I was able to learn and experience an entirely different side of photography I’d never seen before and one you don’t see often anymore. Fast forward to last Christmas my amazing mother in law and her awesome husband handed me this obnoxiously large box I had no idea what was in it or what I was in for as soon as I opened it I immediately began to cry. It was the camera pictured. There are no words for the amount of gratitude I have for them and my husband and their ability to make this dream into a reality. Now it’s time to get to work!

This is one of my favorite shots taken on the road trip that I went on in January. This shot was taken at the incredible in Memphis, Tennessee capturing a beautiful Spanish moss tree looking up toward the observatory deck that was unfortunately closed due to covid. I’m not sure if their Spanish moss trees are real or not but they sure do look pretty, wouldn’t you agree?
