MODEL CALL — IN-HOME STORYTELLING SESSION (FREE/SELECTED)
I’m looking for a family to participate in a documentary-style in-home photo session focused on natural, candid storytelling.
This is not a posed or “smile at the camera” session. The goal is to capture real connection, movement, and everyday life as it naturally unfolds.
Ideal home + family (Requirements) : Please read before applying.
* A bright home with lots of natural light (large windows preferred throughout)
* A kitchen with a deep sink AND a window directly near or above the sink (required for part of the session)
* One child ideally between 6 months – 1.5 years (this is the key age for the sink bath portion)
* Additional children of any age are welcome
* Multiple kids encouraged
* Comfortable in front of the camera. The best fit is a family who can relax into their natural rhythm without feeling self-conscious or awkward.
Session concept includes natural, documentary moments such as:
* Playing in the backyard
* Indoor play with toys and books
* Coloring, painting, or simple creative activities
* Eating ice cream or a small treat
* A gentle sink bath moment (documented naturally, not posed)
Style of work:
* Candid storytelling / documentary approach
* Minimal direction, focused on real interaction and emotion
* Movement encouraged (no forced posing or “look at the camera” moments)
* Shooting through windows, doorways, and natural frames within the home
Session details:
* Approx. 2 hours of in-home coverage (flexible depending on the flow of the session)
* I will be observing and capturing moments as they naturally happen rather than heavily directing scenes
* Selected family will receive a curated gallery of edited images
