Iā€™ve been using this location a lot lately, especially during these winter months. Itā€™s so quiet and gives us all the space we need. We were lucky to have some pretty warm weather this day, which made it even better! One of my favorite parts of this session was pointing out the birds we spotted on our walkā€”her daughter seemed to love watching them just as much as I do šŸ¤“

Their pregnancy announcement was the very first session I ever did professionally, then I had the honor of photographing their wedding about a year ago ā€” and now I get to document their newest addition. Stepping into wedding photography was something that intimidated me from the very start of my career. Honestly, it still does - but only because I care so deeply about getting every moment exactly right. I used to tell myself, ā€˜You canā€™t mess up someoneā€™s wedding photos,ā€™ and that fear kept me from pursuing it for a long time.

But when this incredibly sweet couple hired me for their engagement photos and then trusted me enough to ask me to photograph their wedding, I knew I couldnā€™t say no. That trust meant everything - especially to someone whoā€™s just trying to grow their small business in this industry.

Iā€™ve photographed two weddings this year and already have three booked for next year. Iā€™m so excited to see where this journey leads, and Iā€™m incredibly grateful for every couple who has trusted me to capture their day. It truly means the world to me šŸ¤
