Okay, Iโ€™m back from taking a little break to soak up some family time for all our birthdays ๐ŸŽ‰ Now itโ€™s time to get back to it: editing, sending galleries, and sharing all these goodies!

S + D | Engagement Session โœจ

This session turned out AMAZING. โ€ฆ Youโ€™d never know I hiked about two miles, up a million stairs, with zero serviceโ€ฆ just to find out there was a parking lot right where we shot ๐Ÿ˜… Also learned Canon evenings + no sunlight = a fun little challenge LOL. (I pitched a ride with a nice stranger back to my car THANKFULLY)

But truly, I had the best time celebrating and capturing these two. Now the countdown is on for the BIG DAY! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’

Fun, loud, energetic, slightly chaotic, and yesโ€ฆ definitely on the shorter side. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค oh, and you canโ€™t forget my lovely husband & his phone clip! ๐Ÿ™ƒ

We attempted our own family photos (with a little help from my bestie.. who has never used a camera LOL and a whole lot of bribery, bubbles, hopes & dreams.. ๐Ÿคฃ).

โšก Life is busy, messy, and nonstopโ€ฆ but we wouldnโ€™t have it any other way.

โœจ ๐€ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ž ๐š๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฎ๐ฌ: EVERYONE in our family has a June birthday, and our son decided to make things extra special by arriving on our anniversary! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ So basically, June is one giant month-long celebration at our house!

They officially moved back to Iowa, and I have absolutely loved watching this sweet family succeed. From one of the best University of Iowa nurses to football coach life, they are truly thriving โœจ So thankful I got to capture this season for them!

Iโ€™m probably going to cry making this postโ€ฆ but this was by far one of the coolest experiences Iโ€™ve ever had as a photographer. ๐Ÿค

Within 24 hours, I got to capture TWO deliveries at the same hospitalโ€ฆ and youโ€™ll never believe it, the moms were literally rooms apart. What are the odds?!

Getting to witness and capture these moments was absolutely incredible. There is truly nothing more powerful, emotional, and beautiful than bringing a baby into the world. These images mean so much to me already.

Honestly, it made me wish I couldโ€™ve had my own delivery captured too. ๐Ÿฅน

This week has been fueled by lots of love, little sleep, and an unhealthy amount of caffeineโ€ฆ but I wouldnโ€™t trade it for anything. Being trusted to document moments like these is something Iโ€™ll never take for granted. ๐Ÿค
