One of my favorite parts of owning Perspective Media is getting the opportunity to work with businesses that truly make a difference in their communities.

I recently had the chance to head back to Black Sheep Coffee, this time at their Hanna City location, to capture fresh headshots and create content that highlights the incredible team behind the business. It’s always rewarding to help showcase the people who work hard every day to create a welcoming experience for their customers.

Great coffee is what gets people in the door, but it’s the friendly faces, genuine conversations, and sense of community that keep them coming back.

A huge thank you to the entire Black Sheep Coffee team for trusting me again. I truly appreciate the opportunity to help tell your story.

Every once in a while, I get the opportunity to photograph a place that I’ve genuinely enjoyed long before I ever picked up my camera.

Country Club BBQ is one of those places.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always been one of my favorite local spots. The food is consistently great, the drinks are cold, and the staff treats everyone like they’re glad you walked through the door. It’s the kind of place where you see familiar faces, catch up with friends, and always feel welcome.

What I appreciate most, though, is how much they give back to the community. From hosting fundraisers to their continued support of Cystic Fibrosis research, they’re always looking for ways to make a positive impact beyond their doors.

I’m grateful they trusted Perspective Media to capture what makes this place special. If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a great meal, enjoy a drink, or host your next event, I can’t recommend Country Club BBQ enough.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with Black Sheep Coffee Mobile at the Moss Avenue Sale, capturing content and getting a closer look at a business that has become a staple at events throughout Central Illinois.

From its beginnings as a mobile coffee trailer to building a loyal following across the region, Black Sheep Coffee has created something special. Their focus on quality coffee, community, and genuine customer connections is evident in everything they do.

A huge thank you to Victoria and her team for being so welcoming and easy to work with. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to continue working together in the near future.

Bittersweet moment with this one. I spent a lot of time at this house growing up. It was my grandparents’ home, so getting the chance to photograph it for a listing meant a lot.

I had the opportunity to capture the soft opening of Segreto Di Stefania earlier this week, and today they officially celebrate their grand opening.

Located at 4315 N Voss St in Peoria Heights, this speakeasy style Italian restaurant is intentionally tucked away, but it is not something you will want to keep hidden. The space, the menu, and the overall experience feel thoughtful and well executed.

If you are looking for a new dining experience in the Heights, this is worth checking out. Proud to help document the start of it.
