Life isn’t black and white, and neither is photography.

Sure any picture can BE in black in white, but there isn’t one way to do photography itself.

My husband and I talked yesterday about how there isn’t a standardized way of measuring a professional photographer. In some ways the lack of guidelines can be messy and bring about confusion for people when it comes to pricing, quality, and experience.

But in another way, it is a beautiful thing that allows photography to truly be an art.

So I will take the messy, the unmeasurable and the subjective, to be given the opportunity to show you all my heart.

Art that is timeless and shows some of your most important memories from a unique perspective that you can’t get anywhere else.

Art that freezes time for the moments you will want back.

Art that makes you feel that emotions from that very season of life.

"Are you two friends?"

That is what this sweet one's older sister asked her stepmom at the end of the session.

"No- we just met when I hired her for photos!"

The 9 year old was shocked and my heart melted.

That’s the experience I strive for in every newborn session. Personal, connection, and a space that feels safe from the very first moment.

First session in the studio for 2026 and it involved so pretty special people…. MY FAMIKY 😍. Eight kids all 10 years old and younger and it was a miracle no face swaps were needed!

I am open for bookings!!

I took November 1st through January 1st off since we were welcoming baby number 8 but I am officially back! Even though I was off the last eight weeks I was able to take newborn photos of my newest niece 🥰.
