I made my first set of business cards nearly 20 years ago, but this is the first time I’ve made my own boxes for them! There’s a forever learning curve to get programs to play nice together, but I got it dialed in eventually!
In a previous job, I had a manager that trained people by explaining things exactly one time. He would then watch them work, and periodically say “why are you doing it the hard way?” instead of reminding them of the implied easier way. Any way is the hard way if you don’t know what you are doing. But let me tell you, the sense of accomplishment that follows troubleshooting the s**t out of something and finally getting it to bend to your will is so great! And since I was on a roll, I went ahead and made enough boxes to cover what I usually create in a year. Just in case 😂
