I fall into a delightfully distracting rabbit hole in my King Pine algorithm some days. The feed is full of incredible photography and graphic arts—drone shots, action video, large format, medium format, paintings, and all sorts of visual experiments. I used to feel a little competitive about it, until I finally shoved my ego aside and realized it was really an opportunity to go to school. Now I try to look at the work as a chance to learn: new shapes for composition, different angles, unexpected ideas, and new ways of seeing.
