I had the pleasure of working with Melanie and her team at Encore Services for a shoot for an upcoming magazine cover! ✨

While we were in the studio, we took the opportunity to grab a few updated headshots of Melanie—and I love how they turned out.

I have been DYING to photograph a family at the Cockrell Butterfly Center, and when Olivia told me she wanted to announce the newest member of there family I knew exactly where we should go! This session was everything I hoped it would be. 🦋🌿

There’s something about an interactive session that will forever be my favorite—especially with littles. I’m a firm believer that some of the sweetest photos happen when we stop asking kids to sit still, look at the camera, and smile… and instead just let them be kids.

Let them explore. Let them laugh. Let them get distracted by a butterfly. Let them love on each other. 🤍

Because family photos with little ones don’t have to feel forced or stressful. When they’re actually enjoying themselves, that’s when we get the giggles, the belly laughs, the little hugs, and all of those in-between moments that feel like them.
And this session was FULL of them. 🥹

No matter how simple the day or unexpected the weather, the promise remains the same—choosing each other, forever.

Elizabeth, you’ve been one of my clients since the very beginning of this journey, and it’s been such a privilege to watch your story unfold. Bridals are more than putting on the dress before the wedding day.

They’re a chance to slow down and take it all in — the dress you dreamed about, the veil, the flowers, and the feeling of realizing *I’m really about to be a bride.*

Wedding days move quickly. They’re full of people, emotion, timelines, and a hundred beautiful little moments happening all at once. A bridal session gives you space to simply exist in this season — no rushing, no guests waiting, no next thing on the timeline.

Just you, in one of the most fleeting chapters of your life.

Because one day the dress will be tucked away, the flowers will be gone, and the wedding day will become a memory.
