This spectacular thunderhead came waltzing through the area around sunset on 4/22/25, so of course I grabbed my DJI Mavic 2 Pro and headed for a picturesque spot overlooking Partridge. It felt really good to take some pictures again! With a young family to take care of, I haven't been taking nearly as many photos recently. And of course in this case, I was able to pile the whole family into the car and they enjoyed it with me.

It was my wife and my 5-month wedding anniversary! We celebrated by getting Anchor Away tacos and watching the sunset on top of the 1st National Bank parking garage over Hutch!

My wife and I went out to watch the sunrise over this amazing sunflower field by the Whiteside elevator on Monday. The sunflowers, as they're wont to do, were all pointed expectantly toward the sunrise. This is a non-typical view from the back, of course, but beautiful nonetheless.
