💕 DATE NIGHT 💕
I was so excited for date night. I don’t know why. Maybe because I get to dress up 👠, my husband dresses up 🔥and he smells so damn good.
But for me, this is a whole process. You have to shave 🪒, everywhere. Now, as a woman, coming into the cooler months, that razor isn’t out AS MUCH.
On date night, you put on a lot more makeup than a normal day. There’s extra blush colors, 4 different eyeshadows, eye liner, 18hr lipstick 💄. ALL THE THINGS!
We decided to try a NEW restaurant, go out of our box.
👎👎 Dave said the minute he walked in, he knew! I liked it, but I didn’t like being at a 2 top. I know there’s only 2 of us. But when you live with boys/men that are above 6’3”, you fight for bigger tables - ALWAYS. We asked for a different table, and the kid just moved us to another 2 top. I looked at Dave like - want me to handle this? But, before I said anything he said “this will work”
The vibe was WAY OFF for me. Waitress was great, food was not the hype that I had read. And I couldn’t sit next to my husband 👎
I left disappointed. All the preparations, even my new top.
Dave said “let’s go to get a drink somewhere, let’s go have some fun” I said “no, I want to go home and walk the dog and watch Ted Lasso” With my makeup still on and now sweatpants and sweatshirt- DATE NIGHT WAS OVER!
Ever had a night like this?
