These ladies tried to brave a storm during their original session and we were hit with rain, hail, and snow. Round two, we had a BEAUTIFUL day with bright sun and fast moving clouds. They frolicking around and hyped each other up during their solo portions.

I always feel so honored to capture the moment you drop to a knee and your partner says "yes"!

After chatting over a plan a month prior, we made a last-minute pivot the week-of (thanks to unpredictable Utah spring weather) to make sure everything went perfectly. Right after a horseback ride in Park City, he got down one one knee, and it couldn't have been more perfect.

No matter where your love takes you, it's always a beautiful time to pop the question!

She thought they were just booking a couples photoshoot to document their trip through Southern Utah, meanwhile he was secretly planning the perfect surprise proposal at sunset in Bryce Canyon National Park. 🥹💍🌅

Together, we coordinated every detail to keep it a secret until that day. As the sun dropped over the canyon and lot up those unreal red rocks views, we started the session like normal. Then, he dropped to one knee. Her reaction was everything with smiles, laughs, and happy tears.

Some proposals take extra planning. 💍💜

This one took permits, backup plans, an early shuttle, and blending in along the trail. And somehow... it all came together at the summit of Angel's Landing.

R+L were the sweetest couple to work with. From booking and planning to revealing myself after the big moment and chatting all the way back down to the shuttle.

A few moments from a beautiful "I do" 💜💍

My favorite thing about being a Utah wedding photographer is finding special moments throughout the day that highlight unique qualities of each couple 💕 From the custom mug favors and hand built pegboard to the secret "icing" during the garter toss, this couple made their day reflect them so well! Tears during the ceremony, laughter during the reception, and everything in between.

This is a reminder that we don't need to plan an elaborate photoshoot to capture some beautiful family photos 💜

This sweet family was on vacation visiting family and they wanted candid photos of the kids playing with their older relatives.

We had a station set up for blocks and stuffed animals in the living room, while the kitchen had crayons and paper ready for the end of the session. The kids got to play, explore, and we threw in a pillow fight and outdoor fun in the middle.

There is beauty in the ordinary, and I'd love to document it for your family!

The anticipation of buying your first home. Hoping. Prepping. Waiting. Closing. Getting the keys. It's a milestone to celebrate and remember forever!

Most people are quick to move everything in, slap things on the walls, and get back to other things. But what if you took a moment. A pause to feel the energy of a room, see all of the potential, and capture it with raw emotion.

This session was full of moments that beautifully blended stillness and peace with joy and laughter. This couple beautifully staged a few areas in their home, while purposefully leaving other spaces untouched. Small styling details like fresh baked cookies, vintage decor, and leaning into the pink kitchen color scheme added sweet details to their final gallery.

I'd love to document more moments like this in 2026 with couples or families. You don't need a wedding or proposal to get photos taken. I think there is an extra layer of sweetness and authenticity when you document real life. I'd be honored to document more in-home sessions this year.
