School is officially back in session, which means us homeschoolers are pretty happy to have some of our favorite places back to ourselves 😂🙌

Yesterday’s adventure took us through Lassen Volcanic National Park, visit with the folks, and then up toward Shasta. We explored during the day and stayed out on the mountain to watch the meteor shower.

And it was SO worth it. 🌌 We could see the Milky Way stretched across the sky, watched so many meteors streak overhead, and I finally managed to catch one in a photo! ☄️📸

One of my favorite things about homeschooling has always been the freedom to turn a random day into an adventure like this. Less crowds, more exploring, late nights under the Milky Way, and learning along the way.

Adventure season is officially back. 🏔️🌲🌌☄️

A little behind the scenes update…

Today I finally took the time to give my laser a much needed deep cleaning. 😅 It’s been running in “limp mode” for a while, so now I’m working on getting everything cleaned up and re-aligned so it hopefully gets back to cutting and engraving the way it should.

Lane isn’t exactly thrilled that Mom has been spending time in the shop instead of with him. ❤️ We’ve been going through a stage where he really doesn’t want to leave the house, so adventures have been put on hold for now. Not to mention, we are still on a nocturnal schedule with him 🌙 The upside is that we’ve been knocking out a lot of projects around the house while we’re home.

I’ll be doing a photo dump on here soon to share more of the business side of things. My old Mad Cutter Designs pages are deactivated, so I know there are a lot of new people here who haven’t really seen what I create. I also haven’t been sharing much lately because I’ve been limited, and as most small business owners know, posting is what helps drive business. 😂 There has actually been a lot happening behind the scenes, and I’m excited to start sharing here soon!

Thanks for sticking around while life has been a little chaotic. 🖤 But partly why we transitioned into Left Lane Living to bring more awareness of what autism families go through! & share more about our personal life. 🧩
