Some of my favorite images come from kids just doing their own thing. I don’t expect them to sit still and smile at me the whole session. I want them to play, explore, and enjoy their time on the beach. I’ll follow them around and catch them being exactly who they are. So if your kid is acting crazy on the way to your session, don't worry! I've got it!

I love a good time at the beach! When photo shoots are fun and laid back you can really tell in your images. I will pose you when needed but letting you lead the way is where the magic happens

The beach isn’t always picture perfect. Sometimes there’s seaweed, wind, crazy waves, or whatever else Mother Nature decides to throw at us that day. But honestly, I kind of love it. It’s part of the beach, and moments like this don’t need a perfect backdrop.

You don't need to be engaged, celebrating an anniversary, or have some big reason to book photos together.
Sometimes “we haven't had good pictures of us in forever” is reason enough.
Come hang out, laugh at each other, get a little too close, and let me handle the rest.
Couples sessions are seriously becoming some of my favorites to photograph.

ROARING into ONE whole year of Waylon!

You know I couldn't let his first birthday go by without putting him in front of my camera for his own cake smash. He gave me about every expression possible, thoroughly investigated the cake before deciding what he thought about it, and made this one pretty fun to photograph.

I've been wanting to add more cake smash sessions to what I offer, and after putting together his setup and shooting these, I'm officially ready for more.

Cake smash sessions can be kept simple like this or customized around your little one's birthday theme. The goal isn't a perfectly posed baby sitting politely beside a cake. It's the faces, the mess, the tiny hands covered in icing, and whatever they decide to do once that cake lands in front of them.

Happy first birthday, Waylon. 💚
